Oil Aloe Vera is composed of water, the enzymes catalase
and cellulose, minerals, calcium, aluminum, iron, zinc, magnesium, sodium, 20
amino acids and carbohydrates. Aloe Vera also contains the "youth
mineral" potassium. Has renowned healing and anti-inflammatory
properties, and can soothe the skin and help heal cuts, grazes, burns and
insect bites. Avocado Butter
(Persea Gratissima)
- Ultra Refined Avocado butter is obtained from the fruit of the avocado tree
(Persea Gratissima) which
grows in sub-tropical regions of the world. The butter is created from the
avocado fruit oil through a unique hydrogenation process, which yields a
soft, greenish butter. It has a mild odor and excellent melting properties,
which is suitable for skin care. It is a rich, heavy but penetrating butter
that is full of nutritive and therapeutic components. Avocado oil contains
more than 20 % essential unsaturated fatty acids. It contains vitamins A, C,
D and E, proteins, beta-carotene, lecithin, fatty acids and the "youth
mineral" potassium. Beeswax (Apis mellifera)
Beeswax comes from the honeycomb of virgin bees. Bees process honey form the
nectar and then convert it into wax. Ten pounds of honey produces one pound
of wax. It has a honey like fragrance. It is used as an emulsifier and
stiffener. Black Cocoa Butter
(Theobroma cacao) Cocoa butter is the solid
fat expressed from the roasted seed of the cocoa seed AKA beans. The cocoa
tree is cultivated in most tropical countries and is native to Vitamin
C–ester (ascorbyl
Palmitate) is a proven antioxidant that helps
protect surface skin and also provides essential Vitamin C needed for
collagen production. Vitamin C-Ester is lipid soluble, neutral pH, non-acidic
and thus is non-irritating and non-stinging. Solubility enables this form of
Vitamin C to reach the surface of the skin rapidly in amounts greater than
can be achieved by water soluble Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid). This product
provides readily available form of Vitamin C to skin. Can be used by
individuals who have normally sensitive skin or whose skin is sensitive as
the result of using Retin A. D.M.A.E
(Dimethylaminoethanol) is breakthrough
technology that contributes to well-nourished toned skin. It helps provide a
healthy supply of nutrients that assist in the production of
neurotransmitters. DMAE helps to maintain "tone" and firmness to facial
and neck areas. It is an anti oxidant membrane stabilizer that is a precursor
to acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter that causes muscles to contract) Evening
Primrose Oil (Oenothers Biennis) has a High GLA content that promotes healthy
skin and skin repair. It sooths skin problems and inflammation while
discouraging dry skin and premature aging of the skin Meadowfoam Seed (Limnanthes alba) Oil this Cold Pressed oil
re-moisturizes the skin in ways no oil can. In lipsticks and balms, it helps
revitalize dry, cracked lips and they stay moist longer. Rose Hip Seed
( Shea butter (Butyrospermun parkii) Shea butter is
solid and comes from the natural fat obtained from the karite tree grown in
West and Sweet Almond
Oil (Prunus amygdales) Sweet almond oil is
pressed from almond kernels. The almond tree is cultivated in Vitamin E Acts as a free radical scavenger hinders the oxidizing
process in the skin and promotes soft and supple skin. As an antioxidant it
defends the skin. Helpful in reducing scars and promotes healing. It acts as
a natural preservative for products. Vitamin E is obtained by the vacuum
distillation of edible vegetable oils. Vitamin E oil is an emollient.
According to the AMA's committee on Coetaneous Health emollients do help make
the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce roughness, cracking and irritation.
As well it may possibly retard the fine wrinkles of aging. As an antioxidant
it is believed to remove the free radicals that cells produce. |
